The second Annual Rotary SwiMarathon organised by the Market Harborough Rotary Club

Saturday & Sunday, 21st & 22nd April 2012

in the 6 lane 25 metre pool at  the

Harborough Leisure Centre

The purpose is to raise many thousands of pounds which will be donated entirely to Local and Rotary Charities, helping those who need help, and providing fun days for our local community

Click the buttons for photos, video and to see what happened at our Presentation Evening where we presented the event winners with their prizes and and

the good causes with their cheques!

This large and exciting event is open to all comers and teams of six may be entered by Schools, Sports Clubs, Youth Clubs, Businesses, Professions, and Shops.

Swimming teams will raise sponsorship money, and already teams are signing up, but we are also looking for local organisations to get involved, sponsor the event and thus promote themselves.

Please check out our 2011 sponsors they deserve it!.

The Rotary Club of Grantham has run a similar and very successful event for 21 years.

You can see their video (only 2 minutes long)  click HERE   and you can see a clip from our own video on our photo pages.

Please contact us if you are interested in sponsoring, swimming or both! Swimmers will be of all ages and abilities, this is not a race or a competition, each team of 6 will have 55 minutes swim time

(relay style) and we suggest they are sponsored for taking part, rather than per length.
